- Article Highlights
- We compiled a scale that can measure the ability of emotional contagion in Chinese students.
- The scale measured trait emotional contagion ability, which was found to be significantly correlated with muscle activity and level of state emotional contagion in a laboratory experiment.
- For the Chinese version of the Emotional Contagion Ability Scale we adjusted the original scale structure, and verified the reliability and validity of our revised questionnaire for use with college students in the Chinese cultural environment.
